Armidale Art Prize

 Armidale Art Prize (AAP) 2021
The Armidale Art Prize  (AAP) began in 2009  and has  three categories: Painting, Works on Paper and Sculpture/ Craft Art and a People’s Choice Award. This year the prize will be held in two parts due to the size of our current venue. Painting and Craft Art/Sculpture sections in March and Works on Paper in August.
  • March 27 - May 1:  Painting & Sculpture/Craft Art
  • Aug 21 - Sept 18: Works on Paper, includes  watercolour, prints, painting, photography, and drawing.

Each of the three categories have a first prize of $600, a second prize of $200 and a third prize of $100. The Art Prize  also includes the David Davies Impressionist Landscape prize of $300. There will be a David Davies Prize for each of the exhibitions. The people’s choice award which is across all entries has a $100 prize. These prizes are made possible due to the generous support of our sponsors.

The New England Art Society presents the Armidale Art Prize and Exhibition annually. An event that  showcasing a cross-section of regional art and has become the highlight of the Society's year.

The Art Society invites all of its members and interested members of the public to the Armidale Art Prize Opening.

SUMMER SHOW

NEAS Members Prize and Exhibition
Every summer the Gallery is filled with a diverse collection of current works by New England Art Society  members.  

The Summer Show runs through December and January with a First Prize of $400, a Second Prize of $200 and a Third Prize of $100.
