about the work of Peter Champion.

Biography

I trained as an Art Teacher through The National Art School and Alexander Mackie CAE but only occasionally teach Drawing and Painting these days to adult students.
My work is usually of a depictive of landscape in mood and colour of a subject determined by the available light and atmosphere.
I see my work as areas of related colour and related shape in a rather more abstract way although the work is realist in appearance with Romantic feeling.
Mainly I work in Oils on canvas though at times in Acrylic or Watercolour.
