Biography

At an early age I found I could draw well, enjoyed it, and have been drawing ever since. I started painting in oils in 1964, which soon became my preferred medium. I have never had any formal training and I paint from life, photos, and memories.
I threw my first painting in the bin, only to have it retrieved by Sister Mary Peter, who returned it with some kind words of wisdom. Nowadays my paintings are placed in homes around Australia as well as England and America.
Painting has been, and still is, an important part of my life. I hope you get enjoyment from this exhibition as it has only been my lifes work.
