Biography

After a career in Surveying and Information Technology retirement is giving me the opportunity to further develop my photographic and digital painting skills and to spend more time exercising the creative side of my brain. I have lived in Armidale for over 25 years during which time I have photographed a wide variety subjects both locally and overseas.

My outlook on life is one of "less is more"� which can be seen in the clean and uncluttered content of many of my images. Using a combination of structure and light I look to create images that evoke a response from the viewer. I work mostly in digital colour and enjoy photographing people in their environment, landscapes and patterns.
This exhibition will be a selection of some of my best images taken over recent times with an emphasis on people living and working in their environment both locally and around Australia.
