One day workshop 11am - 4pm with Eve Kennedy
Everything old is new again. With Eve's guidance participants will explore different ways of presenting their art. Transforming recycled frames into something new.
The group will work from a different perspective and let the frame be the guide toward the final artwork that completes the artpiece.

Two Day workshop 9:30 - 4pm with Vicki Taylor and Megan Robinson
This is a fun workshop teaching looping (buttonhole stitch using your fingers) and bobbin lace with interesting techniques turning waste into art. You will be using threads and fine wires. Definitely nothing complicated!
Students will make their own small vessel from recycled hand-dyed fabric then decorate these using bobbin lace and looping techniques. The tutors cater for all levels of skills providing students with guidance and encouragement to be creative. The workshop will be open to up to 15 students (12 years and older).
Requirements: Everything will be provided, but feel free to bring along some found muslin and/or beads. Remember that you will only be making a small vessel.

Discover the keys to painting trees using acrylics on canvas. If you have dreamt of painting landscapes– but weren’t sure where to start or how to get the results you want – then mastering trees is one of the keys to success and this is the figurative painting course for you.
In this course you will learn the fundamentals of seeing, mixing colour and layering Learn about the skills you need to know to be able to incorporate realism into your works. Throughout the course you will guided step by step in order to achieve what you want on canvas.
Your skills will increase skills and develop and we will explore completing a work of your own choosing.

Eve Kennedy teaches the skills of using colour to describe and enhance moods, emotions, settings and seasons in our work. This course explains how we perceive colour and the powerful messages that colour communicates. Investigating how to use colour results in richer visual impressions in our work.
For an artist this course is like a fish learning to swim or a bird learning to fly!
Eve Kennedy - Tutor Colour and light are the main themes that influence Eve’s work. Capturing the true colours of nature and the drama of the ever-changing play of light and dark within any subject matter.
Eve took up painting 40 years ago and has taught in many settings before and after gaining a Degree in Fine Art. Eve is passionate about painting; in acrylic, water colour and oils.
