We are a regional community art gallery located in Armidale, NSW.
The gallery is the public face of the New England Art Society Inc. which is a not for profit organisation. We are a passionate team of volunteers. Our aim is to encourage and promote local artists, making available exhibition space to display and sell their works of art. We regularly show quality artworks in diverse styles and media such as painting, printing, sculpture, drawing, photography, pottery and jewelery, limited only by the artists' inspiration!
Our gallery features a general members' exhibition space where our exhibiting members can show their works anytime. We also hire two of our rooms to artists wanting a monthly solo or group exhibition.
The gallery hosts the annual Armidale Regional Art Prize in May and Crossing New England in October, as well as varied and interesting Evening Art Classes tutored by local artists wanting to share their skill and experience.
With a continually changing program of exhibitions there's always something new, exciting and inspiring to see at the Armidale Art Gallery.
